Two Aberdeen Wings commit to play college hockey

The Aberdeen Wings have announced two players have committed to play college hockey. First Wings goaltender Damon Cunningham has committed to play hockey at the University of Regina A U Sports program. Cunningham is a Sturgeon Alberta Canada native who joined the Wings at the start of the 2024-25 season. He stands 6’0 weighs 175 pounds and accumulated 21 wins, 17 losses and two shutouts in 39 regular season games. He also took part in the 2025 NAHL top prospect tournament, playing one game. Also, Wings forward Many Grey Horses has committed to play Division III hockey at Aurora University. Grey Horses is a Strathmore Alberta Canada native who stands 5’11 172lbs. He joined the Wings during the 2024-25 season. In total he scored 19 points including nine goals and 10 assists in 39 games. He joined the Wings at the trade deadline from the El Paso Rhinos.
