Water off and road closures planned for parts of Aberdeen Tuesday

Beginning at approximately 8am Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the water will be off and the road will be closed in the following area for water main leak repair:

Road Closed: S. 3^rd St. from 1^st Ave. SW to 2^nd Ave. SW

Water Off: S. 3^rd St. from 1^st Ave. SW to 2^nd Ave. SW

And

2^nd Ave. SW from S. 2^nd St. to S. 3^rd St.

The water will be off and the road will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
