Attorney General Marty Jackley joins 24 other states suing to overturn a law regarding magazine clip size

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has joined a lawsuit with 24 other states challenging a California law that would ban firearm magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds. Jackley with his colleagues filed an amicus brief with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals asking the court to uphold an earlier ruling by a U.S. District Court in California claiming the firearm ban denies a citizen the federal constitutional right to use common weapons of their own choosing for self defense.
