The city of Aberdeen is responding to cleanup efforts following a brief but strong storm that hit the city Tuesday night. According to city officials, the water levels at Moccasin Creek are being carefully monitored and a number of trees and tree branches are down.

According to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen a wind gust as strong as 68 miles per hour was reported in Aberdeen and rainfall is believed to be anywhere between 3 to 4 inches.
A sandbag station has been set up at the public works complex along with Third Avenue Southwest for those concerened about flooding in their homes…
McNeil says the city is working with those draining Richmond Lake for the spillway replacement to prevent more pumping and Moccasin Creek backing up…
