Dakotan’s for Health has announced it has turned in 55 thousand signatures to the Secretary of State’s office seeking to enshrine the right to an abortion into the South Dakota constitution. The group needed just over 35,000 signatures to get on the ballot. The signatures need to be verified and if they are voters will decided the state’s stance on abortion come November.
