De Smet star center Damon Wilkinson announced via twitter Tuesday he has committed to play Division I basketball at South Dakota State University. Wilkinson has helped lead the Bulldogs to three straight class B state championships. This past season he averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds per game, helping De Smet to a 22-3 overall record.
