According to a release from the Aberdeen Development Corp. Harris Machine Company out of Oakes North Dakota has closed on its purchase of the old Hub City Inc. building, purchasing it from the Brown County Commission. Harris Machine will now be expanding its operation to Aberdeen. Harris Machine builds parts for companies such as John Deere, Terex, Caterpillar and more. The Brown County Commission sold the building for $4 million after plans to turn it into a regional jail fell through.
