A California man was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Watertown, SD.
Preliminary crash information indicates Antonio Davis, Jr,. the driver of a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500, was traveling west on 20th Avenue SE when the vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an eastbound 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by Jerry Waldner.
Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene. Waldner was not injured.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
