Two more members of the public speak out against potentially changing Main Street in downtown Aberdeen to a two way from a one way

For the second time in consecutive meetings, members of the public spoke out against changing main street from a one way to a two way street.

The individuals spoke during the open forum portion at the beginning of the Aberdeen City Council regular meeting on Tuesday.

Last week Owners of Don’s Hardware and A-1 Locksmithing Brent Fischer and Dominos Darin Duvall, both downtown businesses, spoke against the potential change. The city has earmarked $1 million for the project and a work session regarding the potential change is scheduled for Monday Sept. 8th at 5:00 p.m. At the Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
