Weather spotter training courses will be held April 29th

The National Weather Service in Aberdeen along with Brown County Emergency Management will be hosting a Sky Warn Spotter Training course later this month. The course is free and will be held at the KO Lee Library in Aberdeen Monday April 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. No registration is required to attend. The class will cover the topics including severe thunderstorms that produce damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes and flash floods. Other weather safety related items will be discussed including lightning safety. For more information contact Brown County Emergency Management at 605-626-7122.
