Wild head coach John Hynes named head coach for Team USA men at IIHF men’s world championships

Minnesota Wild head coach John Hynes has been named the head coach of the 2024 United States Men’s National team. This team will compete in the upcoming IIHF Men’s world championships May 10-26 in the Czech Republic. Hynes just finished up his first season as head coach in Minnesota, being brought in about a fourth of the way through the season to replace the fired Dean Evason.
