Northern State junior catcher Nicholas Ochoa has been named the NSIC player of the week for his performance in the Wolves games against Southwest Minnesota State and Bemidji State this past weekend. Ochoa led the wolves with a .471 weekend batting average and bringing in 13 RBIs and scoring 10 runs. He hit three home runs on the weekend and was a single shy of hitting for the cycle in one game against Bemidji State. Northern’s next baseball game will be a doubleheader tomorrow at home against Minot State. First pitch will be at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
