A suspect identified only as an 18-year-old Bryant man has been arrested following a pursuit in Hamlin county. According to the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office the arrest occurred in Lake Norden shorlty after 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. Sheriff Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle on South Dakota Highway 28, but the driver instead took off. The car went through a one-lane construction zone and nearly 80 miles an hour down gravel roads. The suspect faces charges including aggravated eluding and reckless driving.
