3M in Aberdeen laid off 48 employees Tuesday morning. This according to workers themselves who wish and confirmed by 3M corporate to Dakota Broadcasting. It is unknown at this time if further layoffs are expected for the Aberdeen plant. 3M announced at the beginning of the year due to lower demand and adjusting manufacturing output approximately 2,500 jobs would be cut across the nation.
