The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has released its pre-season football poll.
The results are as follows:
Northern State has been picked to finish seventh in the conference while third in the north Division.
University of Mary wide receiver Danny Kittner was named the pre-season NSIC offensive player of the year while Minnesota Duluth linebacker Brad Dati was named the defensive pre-season player of the year.
Named as players to watch for Northern State include wide receiver Dakota Larson and on defense linebacker Nate Robinson.
Northern begins the season at home Thursday Sept. 1st vs. Upper Iowa.
