Aberdeen police arrest two for stealing running pickup Thursday morning

The Aberdeen Police Department reports early Wednesday morning two men were arrested after stealing a running vehicle. According to police, two people stole a pickup left running in the 100 block of South Jackson Street while the driver was inside a business. The suspects gave chase to police at a high speed, but were not pursued at that time. The two suspects crashed the pickup into a snowbank and fled on foot. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspects, though their identities were not released. They face Grand Theft, Aggravated Eluding, Driving Under the Influence, Underage Possession and consumption of Alcohol, Underage Possession of Tobacco, and Obstructing Law Enforcement.
