One man has died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on August 29th west of Erwin South Dakota. According to the Department of Public Safety 71-year-old Dean Royer of Arlington passed away on September 7th in a St. Paul Minnesota hospital from injuries sustained from the accident. Royer was driving a Kenworht semi-truck and trailer east on 200th street when the passenger side tires went off the roadway, down into the embankment and overturned. He was not wearing a seatbelt and partially ejected from the vehicle. He was first taken to a DeSmet hospital before ultimately being air lifted to the Twin Cities
