City of Aberdeen continues snow removal process

The City of Aberdeen is currently working on removing snow and drifting snow that has fallen over the past 96 hours.

According to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen these are the following snow totals as of Friday morning over the past 96 hours:
Castlewood – 5.8 inches
Clark – 8.9 inches
Milbank – 12 inches
Sisseton (three miles west) 12.7 inches
Aberdeen – 10.5 inches
Birtton – 13.7 inches
Westport – 14 inches
Watertown – 6 inches
Pierre – 14 inches.

Removing the snow is going to take some time and Aberdeen remains under a no travel advisory until at least noon today. City Engineer Robin Bobzien explains…
