City officials urge residents to be ready for plowing to begin following this winter weather event

Aberdeen Public Works has not yet issued a snow removal alert, but will likely be doing so in the near future as the city is expected to get up to 13 inches of snow if not more.

City Public Works Director Robin Bobzien explained what the city has planned for the upcoming snow removal process…

Bobzien says once that snow alert has been issued residents should work to remove their vehicles parked on the streets…

The snow alert can be found at the city’s website and residents can sign up for text alerts about these types of situations.

Bobzien says its up to the discretion of police whether or not a vehicle is ticketed and towed or simply ticketed…
