Dakota News Now to host gubernatorial debate Sept. 30

Dakota News Now reports the network will host a gubernatorial debate between incumbent Republican Kristi Noem and Democrat challenger Jamie Smith. The debate will take place Sept. 30^th though an exact time for the debate has not yet been set. According to a press release from Governor Noem’s campaign this will be the first and final debate Governor Noem will participate in this election cycle. Challenger Jamie Smith is asking for multiple opportunities to debate Noem during the campaign.
