A Elkton man has been been arrested after 11 dogs were taken from his home due to neglect. According to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office 45-year-old Marshall Moe was arrested after officers responded to numerous calls regarding neglected or poor living conditions for animals living at a residents in the 200 Block of Cornell Avenue. All 11 dogs have since been taken in by the Brookings County Humane Society. Moe faces 11 counts of neglect, abandonment or mistreatment of animals. He was released under person recognizance bond and awaits his initial court appearance.
