South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem continues her “Freedom Works Here” initiative, but is changing some of the target audience.
Governor Noem announced the “Nurses STAT” ad, aimed specifically at brining nurses to South Dakota to fill open positions. In a release about the ad, Governor Noem says Sanford Health, Monument Health and Avera Health are partnering with the State to help sponsor the campaign.
Governor Noem claims since launching the Freedom Works Here ad campaign, 8,000 people have expressed interest in moving to South Dakota, 2,000 people are in the final stages of moving to the state and the ads have been viewed more than 850 million times.
