Minnesota Vikings great Jared Allen was named one of 15 modern-era finalists Wednesday to be inducted into the pro football hall of fame in Canton Ohio. The former defensive end is in his fourth year of eligibility. The 50-member pro football hall of fame selection committee cut the list down from 25 and will vote on the class to be enshrined before the Super Bowl. A maximum of five modern-era finalists can be enshrined at the same time.
