South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has appointed Captain Casey Collins as the new Superintendent of the South Dakota Highway Patrol. Captain Collins has 15 years of experience with the State Highway Patrol, most recently serving as the District Three Commander in Rapid City. He will replace Colonel Rick Miller who recently retired. Collins will assume his role effective January 22nd.
