The South Dakota High School Rodeo Association identified the athlete as Brigg Price, a student from Faith. Little details about the accident were released other than it involved a horse. In an update provided by the Rodeo Association, Price is stable and making small improvements. Regional qualifying rodeos are set for June 2nd through the 4th and the high school state finals will be held in Ft. Pierre June 13th through the 17.
