South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson has officially announced his re-election campaign seeking his fourth term as South Dakota’s lone member of the US House of Representatives. In a release about his announcement, Johnson called himself a workhorse who voted over 70 times for strong border security policies, receiving an A+ rating from the NRA and a 100 percent score from the National Right to Life campaign. According to Johnson he has sponsored 19 bills that have been signed into law. According to the South Dakota Secretary of State’s office, Johnson is the only candidate so far to officially file his candidate petition. He could still face a Primary, but will likely face Democrat Sherly Johnson who announced her candidacy early this month.
