The State of South Dakota will receive $69.6 million from the Capital Project Fund program to build a multi-purpose community facility. The money is provided by the federal government and will go to the South Dakota Department of Health. It is earmarked to build a Workforce Development and Education center to provide public access to computers, and wi-fi as well as enable community members to complete job searches, prepare resumes, submit job applications and conduct telehealth appointments. The center will also host literacy events, career fairs and provide education for new parents, first aid and CPR, suicide prevention and more.
