Suspect in Dakota Dunes murder returned to South Dakota

A murder suspect in a case regarding a woman’s death in Dakota Dunes South Dakota has been returned to the state. 39-year-old Alfredo Antonio Castellanos-Rosales is currently in custody at the Union County Jail in Elk Point South Dakota. He is the prime suspect in the murder of 23-year-old Jordan Beardshear who was found dead in her apartment in Dakota Dunes by officers on April 25th. Castellanos-Rosales and Beardshear have a one-year-old child together. The child was not physically harmed in the incident. Following Beardshear’s death Castellanos-Rosales fled the United States, but was arrested by Mexican authorities in Mexico on May 12th and began the extradition process back to South Dakota to face charges.
