A political action committee has announced it is already gearing up to fight Amendment L which will be on the ballot come 2026.
Amendment L was passed by lawmakers as a resolution to get on the ballot this past legislative session. If made law, changes to the constitution voted on by the voters would go from needing a simple majority to pass to needing 60 percent to pass.
