Aberdeen Fire and Rescue reminding residents of city ordinance regarding fireworks

Aberdeen Fire and Rescue is reminding residents the a city ordinance prohibits the use of fireworks within the city limits. That ordinance does include an exemption for sparkles, snakes, and other fireworks that do not have an audible report projectile or launching component. Fire and Rescue also wants to remind residents to use fireworks responsibly to avoid injury. Children should not light or use fireworks and adults should not use fireworks under the influence of alcohol.
