Fire and rescue respond to fire at apartment complex

Aberdeen Fire and Rescue responded to an apartment complex fire Friday December 2^nd. Crews arrived on the scene at approximately 11:47 p.m. At an apartment at 1020 North 2^nd Street. Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the residents. The fire was quickly contained, but there was significant fire, smoke and water damage throughout the building. Four residents were transported to a local hospital due to smoke inhalation. Crews were on the scene for approximately 12 hours.
