The Roberts County Sheriff’s Department reports 23 pets were rescued from a neglectful home in Roberts County. Authorities executed a search warrant to recover the animals. According to a release from the Department, there were eight dogs, seven cats, three kittens, 3 sugar gliders and two rabbits. Some of the dogs were 20 to 30 pounds underweight for their breed and several animals were left out in the heat of the day with no access to water.
