A candidate for state house in southern South Dakota is facing charges after an alleged incident last week. According to court documents Robin Schiro was arrested Wednesday after authorities attempted to pull her over and she fled on Highway 50. She was arrested later that day outside the North Sioux City city hall. She was wanted on an outstanding warrant for speeding violations in Lawrence County. She faces obstructing an officer, jailer or firefighter in this incident. She is a Republican currently running to Represent District 17 in the South Dakota House of Representatives.
