Two men arrested in Madison following high speed chase charged with attempted murder

The two suspects arrested in Madison last week following a high speed chase and shots fired have been formally charged. Both suspects 40-year-old James Lanpher Jr. of Sioux Falls and 45-year-old Bonner Juel of Harrisburg are now facing attempted first degree murder along with two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement. The two suspects fired shots at police multiple times throughout a pursuit that started in Sioux Falls and ultimately ended in Madison. No one was injured in the incident.
