The Minnesota Vikings have released wide receiver Adam Thielen ahead of NFL free agency. The team made the announcement Friday. Thielen is 32-years-old and had a storybook career with the Vikings. He is a Detroit Lakes Minnesota native and joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of Division II Minnesota State Mankato. During his career he was named a second-team All-Pro in 2017 and a pro bowler in 2017 and 2018. Thielen ranks third in team history in receptions (534) and receiving touchdowns (55) and fourth in receiving yards (6.682).
