Aberdeen man and two others arrested in Sioux Falls on drug charges

Police in Sioux Falls report three individuals, including an Aberdeen man, have been arrested on drug and stolen property charges. According to police the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. Near 14^th street and Main Avenue. Officers made the stop as the driver was someone recognized by police as someone on parole. Upon searching the vehicle a small amount of meth, drug paraphernalia, loose 9mm bullets and two handguns, one of them stolen from an unlocked car in Sioux Falls last September. 36-year-old Michael Hillmer of Aberdeen faces possession of a firearm by a former violent offender as well as parole violation, 35-year-old Joseph Carpenter of Clear Lake faces parole violation, fales impersonation, possession of a firearm by a former drug offender and drug charges. Finally 29-year-old Jacob Abdo of Sioux Falls faces drug charges and possession of stolen property.
