Police in Sioux Falls report three individuals, including an Aberdeen man, have been arrested on drug and stolen property charges. According to police the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. Near 14th street and Main Avenue. Officers made the stop as the driver was someone recognized by police as someone on parole. Upon searching the vehicle a small amount of meth, drug paraphernalia, loose 9mm bullets and two handguns, one of them stolen from an unlocked car in Sioux Falls last September. 36-year-old Michael Hillmer of Aberdeen faces possession of a firearm by a former violent offender as well as parole violation, 35-year-old Joseph Carpenter of Clear Lake faces parole violation, fales impersonation, possession of a firearm by a former drug offender and drug charges. Finally 29-year-old Jacob Abdo of Sioux Falls faces drug charges and possession of stolen property.
