(KXLG – Watertown, SD) Grant County Emergency Management (GCEM) reports the Milbank Fire Department was called out to a fully engulfed barn Monday at 5:11 pm, located at 48120 152 Street, Al Shakespeare.
Firefighters worked to prevent further damage to an enclosed trailer, tractor, and shed under construction. GCEM said, “The barn contained goats that survived as older historical type barns burn very rapidly.”
Milbank Fire, Grant County Sheriff, Emergency Management, and Grant Roberts Ambulance responded.
