Vikings cut running back Alexander Mattison

The Minnesota Vikings have cut running back Alexander Mattison. Mattison will be free to sign with any other team of his choosing once NFL free agency opens on March 13^th. Mattison played five full seasons with the Vikings, starting 13 of 16 games played in 2023. Mattison was a third round pick by Minnesota in 2019 out of Boise State. He has appeared in 75 regular season games rushing for a total of 2,370 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.
