Wild trade forward Kevin Fiala to Los Angeles for first round pick and prospect

The Minnesota Wild traded restricted free agent Kevin Fiala to the Los Angeles Kings Wednesday for a first round pick and a prospect. The Wild sent Fiala to Los Angeles in exchange for the 19th pick in the upcoming 2022 NHL draft and defenseman Brock Faber.

Faber is 19-years-old who just completed his sophomore season at the University of Minnesota. He was selected by the Kings in the second round 45th overall in the 2020 NHL draft. He also played four games for team USA at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
